This marvelous cord chair is a Yugoslavian-made interpretation of Hans Wegner’s CH25 cord chair. The back of the chair pivots to allow for greater comfort.

As you can see from the photo above, someone attempted a repair on the cording at the front of the seat. The chair is being sold AS IS, but is completely serviceable.

This chair has been identified by a major auction house as having been designed by Gilbert Rohde. Rohde was an early mid-century designer, having worked for Herman Miller.
